2024.09.14-14. Budapest - Mercure City Center Hotel
The last few years seem to be all about adapting digital processes. This trend did not start today, but in the early 2010s with the widespread adoption of digital smile design and navigated implant placement, the development of CAD/CAM dental processes and now, with the advent of intraoral scanners and other clinical digital diagnostic procedures, it has almost come full circle. So much so, that in many cases we can create a digital patient that does not yet have the complexity of a real patient, but we can transfer key features for treatment planning into the digital space. This makes our treatments more predictable, more accurate and less stressful. In our course, we will introduce participants to the details of a digital workflow that we have adapted in our everyday practice. In addition to theoretical teaching and clinical cases, we will also provide live demonstrations. Our speakers will bring their extensive experience in digital dentistry and dental technology to this one-day theoretical but highly practical course.

He started his studies in 2011. During his 3 years of apprenticeship with Éva Kiss, he mastered precision work and the basics of full and partial prosthetics. In the following years, under the wings of András Váradi, he was able to explore the world of composite inlays/onlays, anatomical press ceramics and screw retained temporary implant restorations. In 2016, he started his CAD-CAM career, where he became more and more familiar with the more complex implant prosthetics and monolithic zirconium work. Developments in this area have been greatly facilitated by joint work with the renowned Urban Regeneration Institute. In the autumn of 2023, he and his ceramist colleague/wife Zsófia Agárdi established the Fölker&Agárdi dental laboratory, where they aim to motivate the present and future generations of dentists in a wide range of metal-free fixed restorations. His main areas of interest are dental photography, implant prosthetics and aesthetic restorations, from press-ceramic inlays to titanium-brick zirconium bridges.
Dr. Forster practices dentistry since 2006. He completed a three year full time residency programme at Szeged University and recieved a specialization in Operative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. He continued to teach operative dentistry at the Szeged University as an assistant professor for five more years. He practices as a private practitioner since 2013 and is a restorative dentist at the world famous Urban Regeneration Institute in Budapest since 2016.
In 2019 he got his PhD degree for the thesis “Biomimetic Restoration of Endodontically Treated Posterior Teeth”. In the publications of the thesis, he layed down the foundations of the new generation short fibre reinforced restorations of endodontically treated teeth.
Fields of interest: biomimetic restorative dentistry, implant prosthodontics, digital dentistry and documentation.
